Barry Baltus and Jason Dupasquier ready to discover Portimao
After 8 years of stop MotoGP will come back to Portugal. Last time was 2012 where the Gran Prix of Portugal was celebrated on the racetrack of Estoril. This time the MotoGP paddock will head for the first time to Portimao, in Algarve for the last seasonal race.
The circuit located in the south of Portugal will be the third round in a row for Carxpert PüstelGP after the two races scheduled in Valencia. With a length of 4,5 km the track counts 9 right and 6 left corners. The new entry of the calendar is an unknown track for both riders and most of the Moto3 grid.
Barry Baltus and Jason Dupasquier are excited to discover the new track. All the Moto3 will be given extra 15 minutes in both FP1 and FP3 in order to get familiar with Portimao. The goal is the same as in the whole season: the chase for the first points.
For Jason Dupasquier, Portimao can be considered as home race as the Swiss rider has Portuguese roots. For this reason he will have a nice surprise, that will be unveiled on his and our social media this weekend.
PrüstelGP is already in Portugal and can´t wait to discover the new race track. Both riders and team are ready to finish the season in the best way as possible!

I am excited to race in Portimao for the first time. I know it´s full of up and downs, it should be funny! FIM CEV this year raced there so I will watch practice and race before getting back on the bike.

Next stop is Portimao. It feels like a home GP to me because I am half Portuguese! It´s my first time there and I am very excited to ride there. I will have a surprise for this weekend. I will do my best in the last race to reach my first points. I feel very motivated and I know we can do very well.
