CFMOTO factory pilots Xavier Artigas and Joel Kelso were guests at the SuperEnduro World Championship in Riesa

For the start of the year, the Moto3™ riders from the CFMOTO Racing PruestelGP team were the surprise guests at the SuperEnduro Indoor Grand Prix of Germany in the SACHSENarena in Riesa.

For the 8th time, the sports town of Riesa was the venue for the SuperEnduro World Championship race. On January 7th, 2023, the sold-out arena turned into a real hotspot and the spectators were treated to a colorful and sometimes wild first-class motorsport show.

Xavier Artigas and Joel Kelso not only delighted the visitors at the CFMOTO stand with autograph sessions and the opportunity to get a picture with the riders and Moto3™ machine, the team also presented some of the current CFMOTO bike models – including the travel enduro CFMOTO MT800 Touring, the retro bike CFMOTO 700CL-X and the naked motorcycle NK650.

The Minister-President of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, also took the opportunity to visit the Saxon racing team’s stand and have interesting discussions.

The main actors of the evening were of course the SuperEnduro stars like Billy Bolt (GBR), Jonny Walker (GBR), Taddy Blazusia (POL) and the German Tim Apolle, who unfortunately had to miss the home GP races due to an injury in qualifying.

At the end of the evening, the reigning world champion Billy Bolt won the coveted victory’s trophy after three exciting races. In addition to the prestige class, the spectators also celebrated the races of the Junior World Championships and the European Championships.

Xavier Artigas presented the golden wreath in the Junior World Championships to Ashton Brightmore from Great Britain at the podium ceremony. The young German talent Milan Schmüser took 3rd place.

Shortly before the grand finale, there was an interview with the evening’s presenter, Sebastian Wolter, and Xavier Artigas. The claim to podium places in the 2023 season was also discussed and the anticipation for the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring from 16.-18. June 2023.

A special highlight for the visitors was the official event raffle, initiated and organized by the team sponsor LBS Landesbausparkasse. The raffle box was integrated into the CFMOTO stand design.

CONCLUSION: A big compliment for a more than successful event, which also makes the organizers around Sven Wendisch and the brothers Daniel and Tobias Auerswald (Eventmanufaktur Auerswald) very happy. The date for next year has already been announced for January 6th, 2024.
