CFMOTO Racing Pruestel GP gears up for the roller coaster circuit in Portimão

After four exciting overseas races with both CFMOTO riders in the top 10 overall, a pole position and a podium, MotoGP™ returns to Europe.

The first destination is the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, embedded in the beautiful landscape of the Portuguese port city of Portimão in the very south of the country. The layout of the modern circuit is 4.6 km long and includes a total of 15 corners – nine right and six left. The track is known for its uphill and downhill passages and is therefore also referred to as a “roller coaster”. The team with #99 Carlos Tatay and #43 Xavier Artigas are looking forward to a successful start in Europe.

#99 Carlos Tatay

„We’re finally back in Europe and I’m happy because Portimão is a very nice circuit. We have to keep our good rhythm right from the start, adapt quickly to the conditions with the CFMOTO and then enjoy the weekend on the rollercoaster.“

#43 Xavier Artigas

“I’m excited to start in Portimão. We had our IRTA test here and the track feels really good. We arrived in Europe with a good feeling, also because of the strong performance in Austin. I’m ready to go!”
