Grand Prix of the Americas: Rodeo ride or star-spangled moment for the CFMOTO Racing PruestelGP riders?

Much shorter journey than in previous weeks has been made by the riders of the MotoGP™ World Championship these days. Nevertheless: from Argentina to Texas it is still more than 8.000 km and also this time, as in the past week, there were delays of the cargo planes for individual parts of the team equipment, from which the team CFMOTO Racing PruestelGP was fortunately spared so far.

The United States has a long racing tradition and brought forward a number of world champions in the premier class in the past. Since 2013 fixed part of the World Championship the „Circuit of the Americas“ in Texas/Austin belongs to the most varied tracks within the racing calendar. The mix of fast straights and tight turns thrills up to the 120.000 fans who are able to sit in the grandstands and will be also a demanding challenge for the riders #99 Carlos Tatay and #43 Xavier Artigas.

#99 Carlos Tatay

“We had some difficulties last weekend, but did a consistent race on Sunday and are happy with the result. But now we want to focus fully on the COTA, get off to a good start in the first sessions and then go full gas and have fun on Sunday.”

#43 Xavier Artigas

“We’re back in Texas. The track is one of my favorite tracks, I feel very comfortable here and will give my best to go in front as far as possible.”
