Next stop for CarXpert PrüstelGP: Spain

Two weeks after the instructive weekend at Silverstone, the CarXpert PrüstelGP team will compete at the Grand Prix of Aragon.

The ” Motorland Aragon ” can be found in the interior of Spain, just under 250 km away from Barcelona. The motorsport complex has evolved from the historic “Road Race of Alcaniz” and, in addition to the paddock facility opened in 2010, comprises the 5.077-kilometer race track, which includes 17 turns and was even awarded the Best Grand Prix’ trophy by IRTA in the first Grand Prix year.

The CarXpert PrüstelGP team traveled to Spain already yesterday, Wednesday, to continue the work from the race weekend in Silverstone, 2 weeks ago. Filip Salac as well as Ryusei Yamanaka are still working on getting into a good rhythm already at the beginning of the weekend in order to achieve a better grid position for the start on Sunday.

On both sides of the box the team is looking forward to the race weekend in Aragon, to a challenging but exciting track – the CarXpert PrüstelGP Team is ready for the 13th round of the 2021 Moto3 World Championship season.

Filip Salac #12:

“I’m really looking forward to the weekend in Aragon, I like the track. We didn’t finish the Silverstone GP in the position we wanted, but we were still able to do a good job. The track at Aragon suits me better than Silverstone, so I’m even more motivated to keep working here and get on the bike tomorrow!”

Ryusei Yamanaka #6:

“I’m very excited about the weekend. My shoulder still hurts a bit, especially when I move it too much. Nevertheless, I feel much better than I did two weeks ago. I think I’ll be able to push – far more than I did at Silverstone. I’ll try to find a pace directly in the practice sessions that will take me straight into Q2, that will be the main goal.”

The practice sessions and the races can be followed live on ServusTV at the following scheduled times this coming weekend:

FP1 Moto3: Friday, 09:00

FP2 Moto3: Friday, 13:15

FP3 Moto3: Saturday, 9:00
