Positive performance in Jerez for Carxpert PrüstelGP

Jason Dupasquier et Ryusei Yamanaka gets ready for the start of the season with a two-day test in Jerez

Only a few days after the first seasonal test in Valencia, Carxpert PrüstelGP was back on track for another private test in Jerez de la Frontera. Due to the favorable weather conditions in this time of the year, the track in Andalusia was the perfect location for the preseason of some Moto2 and Moto3 teams.

On Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th of March, Jason Dupasquier and Ryusei Yamanaka could ride again their Moto3 KTM bikes. It was the last opportunity to ride on a European track before the IRTA Test in Qatar, scheduled from 19th to 21st March.

Jason Dupasquier made a constant improvement throughout the two days. In the first one he rode only with used tyres, trying to increase the feeling and not chasing the time-attack. In the second day instead, he was able to get a fastest lap in 1:46.641.

Ryusei Yamanaka after a difficult start on the first day, made an important step forward. The feeling with his new bike and team is already great and the Japanese rider is constantly improving. He finished the second day of test with a best lap of 1:47.162.

The preseason goes on with a three-day official test in Qatar, from 19th to 21st March 2021. The Circuit of Losail will host the first two rounds of the 2021 season, scheduled on Sunday 28th March and Sunday 4th of April. Let´s start!

Jason Dupasquier #50, 1:46.641

The first day the feeling with the bike was already good. It´s my favorite track. I worked especially in the fast corners, trying to improve the braking points.  On Tuesday didn´t work on finding a good lap with new tyres, but we worked especially with used one. We did many laps, improving at every exit. On Wednesday we tried to catch a fast lap with new tire. Also this second day was positive, we found a good set-up for Qatar. I am ready and full motivated. I will rest a bit in the next few days and then it will be already time to go back for the IRTA test.

Ryusei Yamanaka #6, 1:47,162

At the beginning of the first day we struggled a lot. But then the feeling increased and the last part of the day was good. After checking the data, we had clear how to improve in the next day. Despite the crashes, we worked very well. Unfortunately I wasn´t able to do a good lap with new tyres, but the feeling is increasing lap by lap. I am sure in Qatar we can do well!!
