PrüstelGP is back at Mugello

Ryusei Yamanaka and Jason Dupasquier are ready for the Italian GP

After one year of stop, due to Covid-19 Moto3 World Championship is back at one of the most iconic racetrack of the calendar, the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello (Italy). Despite being their debut Moto3 World Championship debut on the circuit in Tuscany, it´s not the first time for the riders. Yamanaka had a wild card here in 2019, while Dupasquier raced here with Red Bull Rookies Cup.

Immediately after the GP of Le Mans, Jason Dupasquier and Ryusei Yamanaka did a two-day test at the Circuit de Barcelona Montmelo, to get ready for the Catalan GP in two weeks. It was a great opportunity to improve their feeling with the bike.

But now both riders are fully focused on the next race weekend in Mugello.  Jason Dupasquier, currently 10th in the Championship standings, has been proving a great improvement throughout the first part of the season and is ready to take the step forward, to be constantly in the top-10.

Ryusei Yamanaka, 12th in the standings, is also confident for the weekend in Italy, as he appreciates the track. He´s ready to work hard starting from Friday, with the goal of entering directly Q2 and being able to fight with the front group in Sunday´s race.

The Moto3 World Championship race will start on Sunday 30th May at 11:00. But it will not be the first race of the weekend, as the Red Bull Rookies Cup is scheduled on Saturday 29th at 16:30. We are ready to support our Freddie Heinrich!

Ryusei Yamanaka #6, P12

We had a good two-day test in Montmelo, I improved especially in the braking points and I made a step forward. We worked on the set. This makes me feel even more motivated for Mugello. I really like the circuit. The first goal of the weekend is to get directly into Q2. And then for sure will be able to do a great race.

Jason Dupasquier #50

The test in Barcelona was really useful. We worked on many different aspects of the bike. We improved a lot on the set-up, especially on the grip of the rear. I am satisfied because I rode alone and I was able to do some fast laptimes. Now I am focused on Mugello, it´s a type of circuit that I like, thanks to the long corners and the speed. The finish straight is long and it will be interesting especially in the last laps of the race! I have a fast bike and I feel very confident for the next race!
