Press release RFME Spanish Championship - Albacete
Unfortunately PrüstelGP-Newcomer Freddie Heinrich couldn´t achieve another top result in the second last race of the season. At the “Circuito de Jerez” he showed a good performance but following a crash he wasn´t rewarded for his work.
After the long summer break it was time again for the RFME Spanish Championship at the last weekend. At the “Circuito de Albacete” Freddie Heinrich was highly motivated to take his good results from the last races in the Moto4 class up.
The track, located about 190 kilometre away from Valencia, has a full length of 3.55 kilometre and contains eight right and six left corners.
The start into the weekend was quite promising for the young rider from Saxony. Following his 10th position in the training and a 6th place in the qualifying Freddie could start his race from the forth starting row in the race on Sunday.
At the beginning of the 6th run of the season the Youngster was able to gain a good position inside the grid. In a tough race Freddie hold his ground in the top 8 and for a long time it looked like he could finish his race inside the top 5 again.
Unfortunately he couldn´t complete the full distance of 13 laps in the end. A crash some laps before the finish prevented the young Saxon from another satisfying result this season.
The next and final stop of the RFME Spanish Championship will be Jerez. From the 28th to 29th October the Moto4 class will fight for championship points for one last time this year.
