Filip Salac to rejoin Carxpert PrüstelGP starting from Styrian GP
Carxpert PrüstelGP and the Czech rider Filip Salac will rejoin forces for the second part of 2021 season. After being together in his rookie season in 2019, Filip and the German team parted their ways. But now the Czech rider is coming back “home”. Starting from the first race in Austria, he will take the place of his friend Jason Dupasquier, sharing the box with Ryusei Yamanaka.
With a 5th place in Valencia as best result with the team, Filip is fully focused on restarting from where he left. One of the biggest motivation for Filip will be, of course, to honor and fight in the memory of Jason. In his new team, Filip will find back his former crew chief Stefan Kirsch.
Florian Prüstel and Carxpert PrüstelGP are happy for this collaboration with Filip Salac. The goal is to start again from the high level Filip showed in the last races of the season. As a great friend of Jason Dupasquier, Filip is determine to reach his best result for him.
Filip Salac, Carxpert PrüstelGP rider
I want to thank Florian and the whole PrüstelGP for giving me this chance, after me and Snipers team decided to part ways. I am very happy because the team has proved to be strong this year and I will be working with people I already know from 2019. I am confident to have a fast adaptation with KTM and I can´t wait to start this new adventure. I will do my best also for Jason.
Florian Prüstel, Team Manager
After some very difficult weeks for us , we are looking forward to work again with Filip Salac starting from the Styrian GP till the end of this season. We parted our ways at the end of 2019 and he went to Snipers team on the Honda bike. We think Filip is a good performing rider and he can adapt on the KTM very fast. As he was a great friend of Jason, it will be hard for him to race with his bike, but I am sure this will be a strong motivation for him.
